Multi-Engine Instrument Rating

    The instrument rating course contains ground, and dual flight training includes the latest ECAA pilot licensing requirements. The syllabus provides necessary information and guides the student through Three Stages.
  Main objective of the course
   
  • STAGE I OBJECTIVES -Emphasis on IFR flight operations. The student will learn precise Multi-Engine airplane attitude control by instrument reference, Additionally, will gain greater competence in the use of navigation systems
  • STAGE III OBJECTIVES - Introduce and train the student on holding patterns and instrument approaches, including circling and missed approach procedures. The student will learn to correctly perform holding patterns and accurate instrument approaches using full and partial Multi-Engine panel techniques.
  • STAGE III OBJECTIVES - is to introduce the student to IFR cross-country procedures and to increase the student’s proficiency to the level required of an Multi-Engine instrument rated pilot .

THE student pilot will obtain the knowledge, skill, and aeronautical experience necessary to be able demonstrate performance of all IFR maneuvers and procedures at the proficiency level of an Multi-Engine instrument rated pilot at a standard that meets or exceeds the minimum performance criteria established in the practical test  for an Multi-Engine instrument rating Airplane.
PCATD, up to 5 hrs of time may be credited to ground training ,and may be credited for PCATD Time listed in flight training instead of the airplane; are indicated in the lesson time allocation tables, up to (10 hrs).

  Designed for / who should attend
   
  • Private Pilot License.
  • A Current class - 1 medical assessment;
  • Pass Successfully English Level – 4 , and
  • Pass Successfully MFC Interview.

Completion of this course is based solely upon compliance with the minimum requirements of ECAR Part 141. A student doesn't meet course completion standards may need extra time
